CONSTRUCTION / CE-CERTIFICATION
The X-99 has been built in accordance with the European CE-Certification and meets the requirements of the CE-directive 94/25/CE for recreational crafts.
These rules require a certain minimum standard of hull and deck strength, structural bulkheads and stringer, keel and rudder and their attachment to the hull, safety and stability, engine installation, gas installation, sea cocks, manuals and documentation of all major installations.

HULL/DECK
Hand laid fibre glass in sandwich construction with core of 12-15 mm divinycell (hard compressed foam). Solid laminate round the entire bottom support and at all through hull fittings. The deck is re-inforced by plywood supports underneath all fittings. The hull is ground and treated with structure coat and has glassed-in plywood plate at the cabin roof.
COLOURS
Standard hull colour will be white freeboard with 3 waterlines in the same shade of either: black, grey, red, blue, or green.

KEEL
1150 kgs combined iron and lead keel with 300 kgs lead in the lower fourth of the keel. Eight 16/20 mm stainless steel keel bolts mounted and covered with fibre glass.

RUDDER
Elliptic rudder blade laminated of fibre glass and kevlar with sandwich foam. Rudder stock in 55 mm special alloy, diameter reduced at both ends for low weight and high strength. Rudder stock passage in alloy with roller bearings in delrin. Rudder head in alloy and tiller in teak with tiller extension.

MAST/RIGGING
Double spreader mast tapered at top. Standing rigging in 4-6 mm 1 x 19 wire and running rigging in high tech rope with spectra halyards for genoa and spinnaker, 1 main sail halyard, topping lift, 2 reeflines, boom out haul, and cunningham led to each side of cabin top. Inner tightening of mast and cable for Windex light.
